Library Resources
Our library staff is one of our greatest resources. Through their training and expertise, library staff are able to provide a multitude of specialized services to our community. Our professional librarians can offer detailed reference assistance in person, as well as quick reference help via phone or email. We routinely offer basic assistance in computer use, searching the library’s catalog, test proctoring, and choosing your next great read. Our Hour with a Librarian service enables you to book a librarian for an hour of personalized assistance on a variety of topics. Our carefully curated collection of reference materials includes test tutor books, car repair manuals, special interest materials, and government documents, as well as a variety of local newspapers and periodicals. Digital Resources
The Cambria County Library offers a wealth of digital resources available for free to library cardholders. Click on any of the following resources to explore available content. Many of these databases are purchased by the library to enable free access for our users. As a result, you may need to enter your library card number in order to fully access each service. Ancestry.com
Ancestry.com Library Edition offers one of the most important genealogical collections available today. Its vast collection of U.S. and international documents include census, church, court, and immigration records. Search over 30,000 collections and 11 billion records spanning the 1500s–2000s. This resource must be accessed from within the library.

AtoZdatabases is a research and reference database ideal for sales leads, mailing lists, market research, background searches, finding friends and relatives and much more! You’ll find profiles for over 30 million businesses and executives and over 220 million residents.

Creativebug offers online arts and crafts workshops and techniques. Learn how to paint, knit, crochet, sew, screen print and more with unlimited access to thousands of video classes. You can also download patterns, templates and recipes. New classes are released every day from recognized creative experts and artists.
Federal Depository Library Program
The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) Publications Collection provides a digitized record of the official documents published by the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO).
Gale Testing & Education Reference Center
Patrons and students of all ages can use this valuable online tool for standardized test preparation, researching undergraduate and graduate programs, finding tuition assistance and exploring careers.

The information on Glassdoor is shared by those who know a company best—the employees.
Pennsylvania CareerLink Cambria County -
The Cambria County Library is proud to be co-located with the PA CareerLink Cambria County. We were the first public library in Pennsylvania to offer a comprehensive CareerLink site within our building. The full services offered by the PA CareerLink and their partners are now easily accessible to anyone visiting the library. You do not need to have a library card to take advantage of the multiple career services offered from the PA CareerLink.
Pennsylvania DOT Permit Practice Test
Access a free collection of Pennsylvania Driver Permit practice tests for cars, motorcycles and commercial drivers (CDL), along with driver’s handbooks and a senior citizens’ refresher test. The practice tests offer questions about fines, limits, regulations, road signs and more, with hints and detailed explanations. You’ll also find helpful information about applying for a PA license, visiting your local DMV and how to renew your PA license.
