Digital Library Cards are a great option for accessing our online collections. Enjoy eBooks, audiobooks, and movies. Patrons also enjoy free access to ABCMouse. Physical Library Cards

Visit any of our 14 member libraries to apply for a physical library card.
Valid ID and completion of a registration card is required. Learn more about our collections and checkout policies here.

Patrons with digital cards can upgrade to a Physical Library Card at no cost, but must visit a member library to complete the process.

Who can apply for a library card?

Library cards are free to any resident of Cambria County, and can be used at any of the 14 Cambria County System member libraries. 

Children under 18 will need a parent or caregiver present when applying for a physical library card. The parent or caregiver must sign the registration form before the child may obtain a card.

Do I need a card for each library in Cambria County?

Nope! Your CCLSYS can be used at every library in the Cambria County Libary System. You can even use your card to request books between libraries. Learn more about borrowing items here.

Can I get a card if I don’t live in Cambria County?

Somerset and Indiana County Residents

As members of the Johnstown Library District, residents of Somerset and Indiana County may apply for a digital library card. The application may be rejected by the system and need to be approved manually, which may take 3-5 business days.

Pennsylvania Residents

Pennsylvania residents who have a current library card from their home library with an ACCESS PA sticker may obtain a CCLSYS library card in Person.

You will need to present your home library card and valid photo ID at any Cambria County System Library to obtain a Cambria County Library Card.

PA Residents who do not have a home library may pay a non-resident fee to obtain a Cambria County Library System card. Check with your local library for pricing. Residents from unserved areas of Indiana County may obtain a card to access materials at the Cambria County Library, located in Johnstown, at no cost. This arrangement is possible because Indiana County is part of the Johnstown District.

 

How do I renew my card?

Cards can be renewed by visiting the library. Patrons will need to confirm their address when renewing their card. If the address on file is still correct, patrons may be eligible to renew their card by phone.

How do I access my account?

Visit our Online Catalog to access your account. You can view your holds, items checked out, fines, and more.

What is my PIN?

The PIN or Password is required to log into SPARK to view your account. Some online resources may require you to enter your PIN as well.

If you have forgotten your PIN, you may be able to reset your PIN online. Otherwise, please contact your home library to have the PIN reset. Note: Your barcode and username are usually the same 16-digit number.
