Storytimes at the Beaverdale Public Library

During the school year, storytimes are offered every other week. Storytime is suggested for Pre-K children and features stories, crafts, and other activities to encourage young minds.

Summerquest 

Summerquest is a national program to enrich the lives of kids and help inspire young minds outside of the classroom. Registration is preferred but not required. Each summer features a different theme, with challenges and events to encourage creativity. 

Maggie’s Room

Children are welcome to enjoy the library’s collection of books, toys, games and more in Maggie’s Room. Sensory items are available.

Coffee & Conversation

Do you enjoy reminiscing about old times? Do you have stories to share for generations to come? If you answered yes, the library WANTS to hear from you! We welcome you to join us for refreshments, friendship and conversation.

Knitting Club

All levels of knitting and crochet enthusiasts are welcome to meet at the Beaverdale Public Library. Meetings occur Mondays at 2 pm. Instruction can be provided to new and learning attendees. It is recommended that attendees bring their own yarn and knitting or crochet needles. 

Book Club

The Beaverdale Public Library book club meets the 4th Wednesday every month, except December at 7:00 pm. Discussions cover a variety of fiction and nonfiction topics. The titles for 2020 are:

Classes at the Beaverdale Public Library

To support the library’s mission of enhancing individual and community life for residents, the Beaverdale Public Library offers classes at the library on different topics. Classes include gardening, card-making, Christmas centerpieces, cookie decorating, and other items of local interest.
