Sharing Resources

Cardholders can borrow materials from any library in Cambria County! To make it even easier, you can pick up or drop off books at any member library.

Can’t find it in our libraries? If we don’t have it, we have borrowing agreements with libraries across Pennsylvania. Visit our Books and Movies page to learn more.

Rental charges may apply to some items, like DVDs.
Many libraries provide other collections, including electronics, board games, and puzzles. These collections may have different circulation rules and may accrue library fines. Contact your library for additional information.

Renewing Items

Need to extend your due date? Books and many other items will renew automatically! You will receive an email to let you know if an item has renewed, or the reason it did not renew. Items may not be eligible for renewal if the item has reached its checkout limit, or another patron has requested the item

Lost Item Charges

Items that are 30 days overdue will automatically be marked as Lost and a $5 processing fee will be added to the account. All libraries reserve the right to pursue collection for lost items. If an item is returned to the library the charges will be removed from the patron’s account.

Service Restrictions

Services may be restricted when a user has 3 items overdue, or $5 in library fines. When the limit on overdue items or fines has been reached, services will be limited including the ability to place holds, renew library cards, or use computer services at the library. Restrictions will be removed automatically when overdue items are returned or when fines are less than $5.
