Items in the Cambria County Library System

You can request items by placing a hold through the Online Catalog. When an item is placed on hold, patrons can select their pick up location by choosing any one of our 14 Cambria County Library System member locations. With our county-wide delivery service, items can be sent between libraries within a few days. Items can be returned to any public library in Cambria County, regardless of where you borrowed it.  

Getting items from partnering counties

Patrons are able to request items  from Lackawanna and Blair Counties though the Online Catalog. Requested items will be shipped to their local library in Cambria County, typically within a week or two. When finished with an item, simply return it to any Cambria County Library System member and we’ll take care of the rest! 

Getting items from other libraries in PA or nationally

If an item isn’t available locally, a request can be submitted for Interlibrary Loan. Ask your local library how to submit a loan request. Additional request time may be required to submit and receive an item requested through Interlibrary Loan. 

Managing items online

To renew items that are checked out or view and manage holds, visit My Account in the online catalog. The My Account page will also allow patrons to change contact information, view fines, and change PIN/Passwords.

Book Clubs Kits

The library system offers book club kits of up to 15 copies of a book available for use by local book clubs. Items need to be reserved 1 month in advance of when they are to be distributed to a book club, and are due 6 weeks after the checkout date. Please contact your local library for assistance with reserving a book club kit.
