Cambria County Library and Victim Services are partnering to examine community safety and explore the theme of safety through art.
Community Art at Cambria County Library
We are excited to invite you to two upcoming programs focused on Community & Art Safety, taking place on November 2nd and November 6th. These sessions, held in partnership with Victim Services, will use painting and collage techniques to create finished works of art that encourage conversations about what safety looks like in our community.
No creative experience needed to participate! Participants are asked to come with an open mind and thoughts about how many forms of violence have shown up in our past experiences, in our area now, and how we can create safety together.
Each program features a $25 door prize to be raffled off at each session.

Examining Community Safety Survey
In addition to the art programs, we are helping Victim Services collection information on how safety is perceived in our area. We will have a survey available for one month on our website with a QR code, and paper copies will be located at both the Circulation Desk and on the third floor of the library. We encourage our community to participate in this survey, whether online or in person, to share your thoughts and help guide these important discussions.
